NEW! Type 545-12 Motor!
Our new type 545-12 motor is the size of a standard 540 but has a specially wound five pole armature. This gives it the high torque and low speed needed to drive realistically sized propellers on scale models. As can be seen from the graph below, the current drain is surprisingly low and will give much longer running times than more common higher speed motors. 545-12 Motor
Performance of this standard is normally only available from much larger and heavier automotive (fan motors) or expensive and less efficient geared motors.
